Network Technician Certificate

The Network Technician Certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in PC installation, maintenance and repair professions. Computer network technicians maintain, resolve, and supervise the use of LANs and WANs, besides establishing and maintaining the internet, intranets, and extranets of an organization. This program also prepares students to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Network Technician Certificate program the graduate will be able to:
- Design and install computer networks, connections and cabling.
- Identify benefits and drawbacks of existing network configurations.
- Troubleshoot system failures and identify roadblocks in the network.
- Implement network security, standards and protocols and evaluate network performance to improve the network.
