Selective Admission Health Programs

The Board of Trustees accepts that the fields of Nursing and Allied Health, because of their importance to the welfare of all society, must have selective admission requirements.

Programs identified below have selective admission policies. Specific admission, progression, retention and graduation requirements and/or policies supersede general college policies in the catalog and student handbook.

Allied Health:

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Degree (DMS)

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certificate

Vascular Technology in Sonography Certificate

Ophthalmic Technician Degree (OPH)

Radiologic Technology Degree (RAS)

Respiratory Care Degree (RSC)

Sterile Processing Technician Certificate (SPT)
Surgical Technology Degree (SRT)

Nursing:

Nursing Degree (NUR)
Nurse Assistant Certificate (NAS)

The following program does not employ selective admission policy and requires the same standards as other college programs:
