The Supply Chain Management Certificate program prepares learners with critical thinking skills and knowledge that are vitally important to be employed in fields related to supply chain management. The focus is on a broad range of processes essential to effectively and efficiently plan, control, and execute the supply chain management process.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Supply Chain Management Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:

  1. Describe supply chain management and identify its relationships with other areas of business activity.
  2. Examine how to ensure supply personnel deal ethically and in conformance with regulatory requirements and organizational values.
  3. Describe the elements of material requirements, planning techniques, and programs.
  4. Analyze how product factors, transaction throughput, and available supporting equipment and technology influence and shape warehouse design and layout.
  5. Explain how globalization offers many opportunities and challenges for logistics and supply chain operations and strategies.
