Cannabis Dispensary Certificate

The Cannabis Dispensary Certificate provides students with the training needed for employment or advancement in a licensed retail cannabis dispensary. Course work includes specific business, technical, legal, and regulatory aspects in order to effectively interact with and serve customers in a cannabis retail environment.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Cannabis Dispensary Certificate, the graduate will be able to:
- Summarize principles of cannabis dispensary business operations.
- Identify and analyze the current and potential future economic impacts of the cannabis industry.
- Analyze the regulatory and legal issues surrounding the cannabis business.
- Summarize the relationship between profit and risk and show how businesses can raise the standard of living for all.
- Demonstrate the components of customer service and compare and contrast the societal factors affecting customer service.
