MUS 215 Introduction to Music History ◊

Examine the development of music as an art in western civilization from antiquity to present. Emphasis is on musical works and style, as well as understanding of musical concepts. Required for all music majors. Students with no musical background are advised to take MUS 110 (Music Appreciation).
