Applied ultrasound physics as related to ultrasound system design and instrumentation.  Signal and imaging processing techniques and their applications, principles of fluid dynamics and the fundamentals of Doppler physics and instrumentation, including quantitative methods utilized in acoustic output measurement, quality assurance and the current data on the biologic effects of ultrasound.
