Introduction to client consultations, hair-cutting safety precautions, men’s hair cutting, hair styling, and design techniques, including basic haircuts, shear-cutting, taper, and blow-drying techniques. Prepares students for state certification for the Illinois Cosmetology License from the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. (course fee required)
