The Security Administrator Certificate prepares students for security administrator positions. Security administrators work to defend the system as a whole and keep it secure from threats. This program also prepares students to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Security Administrator Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions.
2. Develop security awareness and network policies and procedures to monitor network traffic and detect and stop unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
3. Configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.
   
4. Develop and update business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
