Online Learning

Triton College offers a variety of class modalities. This delivery method allows the student to complete online courses with limited or no required on-campus visits. An online course provides the same course content as a face-to-face classroom course. Triton College offers many online General Education courses and Career and Technical Education courses designed to provide flexibility for students to complete programs of study.

State Authorization and Online Student Complaint Resolution

Triton College is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) which allows the College to provide distance learning programs (both online and in the form of supervised field experiences) and coursework to residents of states other than Illinois. Following the NC-SARA process (https://nc-sara.org/student-complaints), out-of-state students enrolled in online classes at Triton College should attempt to resolve any issues or complaints with college faculty and administration first. Student complaint procedures are in the Triton College Student Handbook.

Students may also submit a complaint with the Illinois Community College Board (www.iccb.org/students/filing-complaints-about-an-illinois-community-college) or the Higher Learning Commission (www.hlcommission.org/Student-Resources/complaints.html).
