NUR 216 Adult Health Clinical III #
The clinical component of
NUR 215. Clinical application of a patient-centered approach to prepare students to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that reflect patient-centered care, safety, informatics, teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement and evidence based practice. Provides students with the opportunity to apply advanced concepts to multisystem organ failure, organ transplants, intravascular coagulation, human immunodeficiency virus, oncology, shock, and burns. Nursing care will be provided in a variety of settings, including acute care, ambulatory care and the community.
NOTE:
NUR 215 is listed as a corequisite and must be taken and passed at the same time. Failure to pass one corequisite course will require repeating both corequisites courses, which will count as one failure. One failure is allowed for NUR 100 courses and one failure for NUR 200 courses with no exceptions. (Fall 2018)
