The Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Commissioning Certificate prepares graduates to perform the final testing and verification steps required before electric vehicle charging stations go live. Graduates gain hands-on experience with electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), learning to validate electrical safety, configure communication systems, conduct functional load testing, and complete commissioning documentation for site owners and utilities.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Commissioning Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and OSHA 10-hour safety protocols to ensure code-compliant EVSE installation
- Apply programming skills to establish OCPP setup and backend connectivity for networked charging stations
- Implement load management strategies to support reliable EV charging operations
- Conduct EVSE site assessments
