COS 101 Fundamentals of Cosmetology #

Introduction to cosmetology offers an orientation to the cosmetology field, its history, and the current state of the profession. This course also provides a foundation for understanding the histology of hair, principles of personal hygiene, requirements and procedures for sterilization, disinfection and sanitation, roller control, manicures, and pedicures. Additionally, thermal, and long-hair styling will be introduced. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are also part of the course. (course fee required)
