AUT 172 Engine Fundamentals II: Advanced Service & Repair

Foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in engine systems, service procedures, and diagnostics. Students will learn to research service information, perform cooling system maintenance and diagnostics, service drive belts and related components, diagnose engine lubrication systems, and apply ASE-aligned diagnostic procedures. Through integrated lecture and laboratory instruction, students will develop practical skills in component inspection, testing, and replacement while interpreting manufacturer specifications and service bulletins.
