Student Conduct and Title IX
Students who fail to comply with Triton Community College policies, regulations, and rules will be subject to disciplinary action, including dismissal from the College. Disciplinary hearings will be facilitated by the Dean of Student Affairs or their designee.
Board policy outlines the student conduct process and the student section of the Title IX policy. Additional information is available in the student handbook.
A student accused of violating College policies and/or regulations may be diverted from the disciplinary process if it is determined that the student is suffering from a psychological disorder. If the disorder leads the student to engage in, or threaten to engage in, behavior that poses a danger of physical harm to themselves or others, causes significant property damage or impedes the lawful activities of others, alternative measures may be considered.
