Honda/Acura (PACT) Degree, Associate in Applied Science

The Honda Professional Automotive Career Training program (PACT) is a cooperative agreement between Triton College and American Honda Motor Co. which alternates college training and practical experience at a Honda or Acura* dealership facility. Students are prepared in all areas of product servicing. Upon completion of the program, the degree holder will have met all of Honda/Acura* training requirements, including completing an internship at the sponsoring dealership.
*Honda/Acura sponsorship is required at a repair facility.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Associate in Applied Science in Honda/Acura PACT degree program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate OSHA & EPA recognized safety practices and procedures.
- Demonstrate vehicle symptoms by performing diagnostic evaluations.
- Demonstrate complex automotive diagnostic procedures.
- Calculate math skills related to automotive technology.
- Demonstrate ethical work habits through questioning and answering techniques.
- Demonstrate communication skills through verbal evaluations.
