BIS 113 Introduction to General Biology

Scientific inquiry through a breadth of selected concepts, such as cell and molecular biology, structure and function, genetics and heredity, evolution, and ecology. Biological issues with personal and social implications are clearly integrated throughout the course. Development of scientific literacy is a foundation of the course to enable students to make informed decisions. This course should not be taken in conjunction with BIS 100◊, General Biology.
