AUT 135 Truck Fuel Management #
Theory and related hands-on experience with medium/heavy-duty commercial vehicle fuel systems found on trucks. Instruction includes: fuel storage reservoir through fuel distribution components, (pumps, filters, fuel injectors, regulators, and return systems), as well as computerized emission control system basics (code reading, Oxygen Sensor (O2), Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR), Evaporative Emissions (EVAP), catalytic converters and diesel engine after treatment systems).
