Student Admission
Triton College recognizes the importance of access to an education. All high school graduates and all others who can benefit from college programs will be admitted.
With the belief that every student should be successful, the college will provide support to help each student determine an appropriate area of study according to individual abilities and interests after admission.
Entry into certain programs may be restricted due to limitations in space, number of sections offered, or other considerations. If space is not available for all students who apply, the college will accept those best qualified, using pre-existing criteria as guides, and will give preference to in-district students.
Triton College does not discriminate in the admission of students on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, veteran status, marital status, ancestry, or disability. Additionally, English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in any educational programs.
