Reserve Officer Training Certificate

The Reserve Officers Certificate is designed to prepare students academically for entry level positions as certified police officers in the State of Illinois.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Reserve Officer Training Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:
- prepare for promotional and advancement opportunities within the law enforcement community;
- demonstrate professional competencies to meet the needs of career opportunities and requirements for employment in the field of criminal justice system;
- employ the knowledge gained for individual additional career opportunities in other agencies at the local, state and federal level; and
- develop skills for problem solving, critical thinking and professional writing.
