CWE 290 Cooperative Work Experience ◊ #
Work experience will integrate classroom theory with on-the-job training. The Internship Office in the Career Services Department will teach career readiness skills and effective techniques to be used in searching for an internship related to the field of study and/or career interests. A faculty internship advisor will be assigned to the student to monitor their progress, and ensure that the student achieves their learning goals. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student participates in job-training experiences. A maximum of six credit hours can be used for graduation as a variable credit course, the student can work between 75 to 225 hours on-the-job. (Summer 2021)

(1) completion of 12 college credit hours, two (2) of these courses, in discipline, must be completed; (2) 2.0 Grade Point Average ('C' average); (3) approval of Career Services Office
