BIS 242 Introduction to Human Pathophysiology #

For allied health practitioners and pre-professional students.  Underlying molecular mechanisms and causes of altered physiological states in the human body, emphasizing major concepts: maintenance of acid-base and body fluid balances, oxygenation, neuro endocrine regulation and control, immune defense mechanisms, cardiovascular mechanisms and aging.  Critical-thinking and problem-solving techniques are used to study the interaction of body systems in the development of various disease states.
