NUR 285 Professional Nursing Career Development #
Examine the current developments in the nursing profession and role transition from student to registered nurse. An overview of healthcare topics include self-assessment, career planning, professional role development, health provider organizations, fiscal responsibility, analysis of ethical-legal situations and political issues as they relate to the provision of care. (One 200-level nursing course may be repeated with approval of the Nursing Admission Committee.)
