BAC 101 Intro to Basic Addiction Counseling

This course covers a range of addictions, including both illegal and legal drugs. Etiology and history of addictions in the United States are discussed, as well as different treatment strategies, including outpatient and residential, individual, group and family therapy. The different support groups are also explored, including the Twelve Step groups, along with alternative groups.
