The Financial Services Certificate is designed to acquaint students with the financial services industry and their unique characteristics in the business world. Prepares students for entry-level positions in the financial services industry, which includes banking, brokerages, real estate, mortgage companies, insurance, financial planning organizations and government institutions.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Financial Services Certificate, the graduate will be able to:

1. Distinguish between the type of law cases that are heard at the federal jurisdiction level.
2. Analyze the key factors needed in order to develop a short-term and long-term personal financial plan.
3. Recognize the fundamental differences between the stock and bond markets.
