Construction Management Certificate

The Construction Management Certificate offers students engineering and construction skills to plan, organize, solve problems and communicate well in the execution of building projects. Students will develop financial and business knowledge to become a construction manager. Graduates could enter as project coordinators with contractors and engineers, building departments, developers and construction-related fields.

Upon successful completion of the Construction Management Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:
- identify sustainability and global environmental issues and their impact in the construction field;
- identify the Business processes needed in the Construction Field;
- interpret drawings and specifications for construction projects; and
- develop cost estimates for small constructions projects.
